No, once your utility or energy provider has accepted your share request to establish an exchange data relationship in Portfolio Manager it is not necessary to re-share access to that property annually. A share relationship will remain in place until the property data administrator or the utility / energy provider remove their access to the property.
You can check to whether or not your property is currently shared in two places. You can either click on the “Sharing” tab and sort by either contact or property to see who has access, or on the property’s profile page you can check who has access to the property on the “Summary” tab on the bottom of the page in the box where it says “Sharing this Property”.
If you are concerned that your property’s meter(s) are not receiving data from your provider / utility company then we suggest contacting them directly and request that they upload that data to the property and its meter(s).
