The ability to create a new Portfolio Manager account and a property within that account is available in the new REST-based web service platform, however, the steps are different.
The first step is to create a new customer account in Portfolio Manager by using the POST /customer web service. When making the call, you will need to provide all of the necessary Portfolio Manager account information for that new customer, including the username, password, and security questions/answers. In response, you will receive the customer-id (which is the new customer's account-id).
After a customer account has been created, you can add a property. To add a property to the new customer’s account, you would reference the customer-id (which is the same thing as account-id) when you call the POST /Property web service.
