Are properties located outside the U.S. eligible for ENERGY STAR certification or a score? Follow

Certification: no. The only properties located outside of the U.S. that are eligible for ENERGY STAR certification are those that are owned and occupied by the U.S. Government and that have met U.S. construction codes.

Score: maybe... If your building type is one that can get a score in Portfolio Manager, then you can get a score if it is not located in the US or Canada*. However, the score is based on a comparison of buildings in the US, so your score may not be accurate if your climate and building operations vary widely from those in the US.

*Canadian buildings can only get a score if there is a Canadian score available for your property type.
