How does the Worship Facility Score account for high vaulted ceilings? Follow

The model for Worship Facility is based on an analysis of the Department of Energy's Commercial Building Energy Consumption Survey (CBECS) which includes a random sample of worship facilities from across the U.S.  By using a nationally representative dataset, EPA is able to account for a variety of common operating and physical characteristics at these facilities. Worship facilities are only compared with other worship facilities.  Since many worship facilities have some areas with high or vaulted ceilings, the CBECS comparison population is expected to have high or vaulted ceilings.  Hence, there is no need for special adjustments.
