You've locked the spreadsheets, now I can't filter, sort, insert, delete, etc! Follow

We are updating the Spreadsheet Upload files. One change we've made is to protect the spreadsheet so that users can't inadvertently delete columns or make other changes that will cause a problem.

We've heard from several users who don't like this change. We are considering the pros and cons of reversing this change.

In the meantime, you can reverse this protection in Excel:

--go to the Worksheet that you want to unprotect

--click on the Review tab on the top

--click "Unprotect Sheet"

Let us know what you think about this issue. Should we reverse the protection? Is it a good idea for some users? Or just creating an extra step? Send your feedback.
